Thank you Silken.
Mine grows potted into clear plastic pot with pure sphagnum moss, gets lots of light on the south-east windowsill and I let the moss get dry between waterings. It doesn't mind low humidity. I didn't do anything special for it to bloom.
Hope yours recover soon, they seem to be pretty tough plants.

Mine is in "late" bud. I bought it last year already in bloom so I am thrilled that I've managed to to bloom it again. Some good advice on the OB to give it lots of water. I think I had been keeping it too dry. I also started to mist it so that the aerial roots could get some extra moisture. In some cases I have 3 or 4 pbulbs in height

Mine is in a clay pot and bark/sphag mix. It gets good cattleya strength sun (since that's all i've got ) - the leaf color is a good green so it appears to be sufficient.

I also found it useful to tame the growth a bit by pulling the pot through a net bag (the kind onions or bulbs come it) so that it is tight on the top of the pot and extends about 2-3 inches up the plant holding it more upright. - another idea I got from the OB.

Can't wait for mine to bloom!

I love this orchid, they smell so wonderful!
Mine has only bloomed once, with one flower (although it is not a very large division). I think I was keeping mine too dry as well. It was in bark, but I recently re potted it in pure Spaghnum.
My dog recently got a little rowdy and trampled a couple of my orchids (including my maxillaria tenuifolia). One of the p-bulbs was broken off and some of the leaves were bent. I re potted it, and it never missed a beat. They really are tough plants!
