Default Zygo. Advance Australia 'HOF'AM/AOS

Hello all

I went to an orchid show in San Diego last week, I was not planing on buying anything this time. But I fell in love with the aroma of this orchid its a Zygo. Advance Australia 'HOF' AM/AOS I hope I can keep it happy, and I'm planning on re potting it to bark as soon as its Finnish flowering since I tend to kill anything in spagnum. enjoy

LOL, I love the name of this orchid. Obviously named by an Aussie with a sense of humour. :P

It's one of my favorites too! Mine bloomed twice last year and already has another growth started. It's a keeper!

Adelaide Nurseries in Adelaide registered over 400 hybrids in its time, primarily Zygo's and Cyms. Nothing since 2003 though, so has probably closed down.

Last year Mine bloomed twice on two growths. The first time was a single spike form the new growth. The second time, I had 2 spikes from the one growth. I posted pictures on the OB, You can search for them.

So, yes, it can flower twice in one year, because mine did!
