Update. Spikes doing well. There are 5 but you can see only 4 in the picture.

Very nice, great growing! I bloomed my Zygo once last summer and now I can't get it to bloom again. Or the 2nd one I bought, and I love them!

I think the secret is to get them outdoors in Summer in filtered shade.
Dynamite extended release fertiliser granules also seemed to have helped a lot, with zygos as well as catts, dens, ctsms and paphs, as I have a whole lot of blooms on the way in the next 2 months.


on the downside there is no way to have near perfect leaves if they are outdoors...

Thanks. I actually did put it outside last year and then it bloomed. But I have nowhere that it can be sheltered from rain. So this year I kept it in the greenhouse near the swamp cooler. Funny that last year it barely had any spots on the leaves and this year both of them have tons of spots. Leaves never ever got wet!

They look just like mine, which I suspected is in fact Louisendorff.

The newsest growth on my plant does not look like it is going to spike, but oh, well.
