Zygopetalum in bloom Male
Default Zygopetalum in bloom

The Zygo I bought last week at the orchid show in Barcelona, has opened three of the four buds it has. I love this flower. I'm no sure if it has a fragrance or not. Will see in the next few days. According to the vendor it's a Zygopetalum x Zygopetalum (does that make sense?).

Maybe something like Zygopetalum x Zygosepalum? (Two slightly different names). Though if the vendor knew that you'd think they'd be able to give you the name of the plant grrrrr

Could it also mean a cross between two Zygo's? I have several that are bred with their own line, but gratefully all of them were named on the tags.

My guess is a cross made with two different ones or it should say Zygopetalum x self. But yes, it would be nice to know the name. Great blooms tho.

Really pretty.

I would guess it's a cross between two different orchids in the Zygopetalum genus. Wish they would tell you more though.
