Talking Cochleanthes Marginata

I was looking over my orchids and found, to my surprise, that my Cochleanthes Marginata had budded .. Here is the flower partially open

My Coch. Amazing has 2 more open flowers on it and another bud ... that orchid is a blooming machine!

Very cool. How wet does this one like to be? The marginata part of the name rings wetlands bells in my head.

Tindo - Marginata is used to describe the coloration on the edge(margin) of the labellum. I was watering this one about every other day .. then I decided to see if it could go a few more days without so much water. I found that when I allowed it to dry a bit more - it bloomed.
Mauro - the searches are never ending ..

Chondrorhyncha 'cochlearis' X Cochleanthes 'amazonica' (sent wrong size by mistake-bought for 17.00)
Chocheanthes amazonica X cochlearis ' Amazing' (Chocheanthes 'amazonica X cochlearis ' Amazing')- - - PICTURED
Chocheanthes amazoncaChondrorhyncha 'cochlearis' X Cochleanthes 'amazonica'
Chocheanthes amazonca

Pescoranthes Raspberry Delight # 1+ 2 combined (coch. Discolor 'Shireland' X Pesc. Coronaira "Brier Hill" AM/AOS)
Pescatobolla 'Sandra's First (ecuedorane X pescatorea lehmani)
