Just follow the culture and it will reward you with blooms....this summer I let it outdoors in direct sun....then just a week before frost comes I take it indoors in the southfacing window for bright shaded light....NYC humidity is good in the summer outdoors

Dichaea glauca can grow as bright as a Vanda, and it most likely blooms better under such lighting conditions than it would in shadier situations.

This plant came from Pacifica, California just a suburb of San Francisco....its called White Oaks Orchids used to be an orchid farm now just merely an orchid motel where you send your plants to be taken cared of when you're on vacation for over a year....too bad they stopped growing their own orchids.

WOW!!! That is really cool! I've never seen an orchid quite like this one. Congrats on growing such a beautiful specimen... seriously! I love those blue-green leaves!
