I can't wait to see it's flowers. Here some pics from when I bought it in bloom.

I wonder if it will have a scent.

Thanks Orquiadicto. Here is a picture of my Zygo. It is Zygo. Murray Bridge and I bought it as 'bloom size' from Paramount a year ago! It has two very fat leafless pseudobulbs, another with the top leaf. Also the mature fully leafed growth that I expected to bloom as it wasn't mature when I got it. And now this new growth that is about 2 1/2 inches tall. It has sat dormant for some time and is now growing a bit. I just re-potted it. It was in sphag in a 5 inch net pot and I moved it to a 6 inch with new sphag. It seemed happy that way and was just packed tight with healthy roots. So that sure isn't a problem. This new pot is almost too small but my next size up was too big. Hopefully there is a spike developing with that new growth! Just yesterday I decided to put it outside. Not sure if the rain will hurt the leaves, but they must get rained on in nature!

Congrats on your spike Orquiadicto!
Funny you should post today as just took photos of my Louisendorfs blooms today. It has 3 spikes and 2 have opened their blooms.

Silken, just be patient and you'll see a spike peeping out from between the leafs sooner or later.
Nenella, please post some pics of your Zygo. I love this species.

I realy don't remember it had a scent when it was in bloom. Let's see now when it blooms if it's fragrant.

As I said I had one before in 2003 from France and it was an easy regular bloomer. It smelt just lovely when she bloomed. I was swept away by her fragrance. I no longer have that plant though but I do now have a baby Zygo. that should flower maybe next year, a barbel holm. It has really pretty blooms but I really hope that the scent is spectacular too.

I bought one of these this spring, in bud. I could only detect a faint odor when it bloomed. I hope the next blooming will go better.

Any I saw had a lovely scent so maybe it will improve. I find it amazing how much orchid blooms can change and improve with subsequent bloomings!
