hehe - that's ok Congrats on the Cym blooms. I think I may actually need to put my Zygo in a plastic pot. It was in plastic, but when I repotted, a small clay pot seemed to be the best size, but it's drying too quickly now *sigh* Better than too wet tho I guess. Maybe now that I seem to have figured out the water requirements, I may have a go at another.

Bud, your apartment in NYC must be huge! I used to live in Chelsea in a dark north facing apartment. I could only grow Phals and Paphs under lights. You are blessed!

Its in the East Village on St. Marks...its a 1930's bauhaus apartment building declared historical so I am rent stabilized and rent controlled...I have a 1 bedroom apartment that is like a motel room that was given a division to make a bedroom...but I have a large baywindow...a large kitchen window(east facing) and a bathroom window(east facing) and my bedroom window that goes out to the fire escape(south facing)
Chelsea apartments are small...as you go downtown the square footage gets bigger...maybe someday I will live in some Tribeca lofts(those are very large spacious areas)
