Synonym genus name Keferanthes, an hybrid of Kefersteinia tolimensis and Warscewiczella (syn. Cochleanthes) amazonica.
Small to medium sized. Grown in an intermediate to warm house under the bench in light shade. The potting mix is medium pine bark from French Mediterranean with 10 % clay pellets (Seramis) to hold the water.
It never fails to bloom. Over the last year there was not a single day without flowers. I just counted 50 dry old spikes. Much more flowers than W. amazonica, which stands nearby. No scent.
Beautiful plant. I love how the Kefersteinia parent gives the lip some ruffle, and how the Cochleanthes (I don't like calling the genus Warscewiczella - it's a mouthful) gives it the lip its distinctive veins and size.
