Lycaste macrophylla

Then I think I'll need to make room for a Lyc. macrophylla. I really like the look of all the wide variety of flower colors I've seen for this species; however, after I read Oakley's description of it being closely related to macrobulbon, I assumed that the fragrance would also be close. Orchids Ltd. describes macrobulbon's fragrance as sweet, so perhaps my plant simply produces stinky blooms. Good to know that macrophylla's flowers aren't quite as pungent.
