It looks like it will be wonderful! How mature/big is the growth that the bloom spike is coming from? I have read that they bloom before the growth is fully mature. I have one with a new growth that has never bloomed yet and I am hoping to see a spike in the next month or two. The new growth is still pretty small-maybe 2 inches tall.

Default cute

Do you know if that is a readily available plant that is likely to show up as a noid at home depot? Flowers look like my gift noid. Its doesn't like my conditions very much, growth is SLOW. It has 3 'somethings' coming but I don't know if they are spikes or new psbulbs. Wish it looked like yours.

Default politically incorrect?

Got to thinking...I hope I wasn't insulting when I asked if my noid could be similar to your named hybrid, none intended, I apologize as I was raised by wolves and sometimes lack finesse.

Several years ago when Lowes was in its previous incarnation a new employee did not remove tags from a shipment of orchids. They were from a good grower in California and very nice. Our local HD seems to get some decent ones as well sometimes.

yes its very small growth about 1/2 around at the base and (2) 4-5 inch leaves. It hasn't made a bulb yet either. So this one bloomed before the bulb . The bloomed out growths from last year are just starting to die out some on the leaves. When this one blooms I take it out the bright light to keep the blooms from fading out too fast. They will love you a long time for 20 $

I grow these right along with the miltys, masdys and paphs.

Give me Bright cool and uniformly moist or give me death

And noids? hehe yes I have seen some similar to these at Lowes and HD. But Those have been zygonesia and not zygopetulams. I have one of the zygonesia from the Lowes and its bloomed out too but with just 2 little odd blooms.
