Lovely plant, Dorothy. It looks very healthy and such a pretty bloom. Lucky you to find it. I've managed to kill an amazonica and a discolor so have sort of given up on Cochleanthes, but perhaps I would have better luck with a hybrid! Now that I see your's, I'm thinking it's worth a try!

Shirley - Don't be afraid .. they just need lots of water - they are thristy little fellas ..
I also just got a marginata .. well I have 2 .. the first I purchased has very dry roots but the plant is thriving .. what got me real angry was that I found scale on it .. I picked them all off for now .. but I check everyday. The second is clean and healthy
I still want a discolor and eventually I would like to get as many kinds as I can ..
Buds - I didn't know they crossed discolor with an amazing!!!
Where did you get the second hybrid .. I would love to have one!

Hi Dorothy,
I am in Australia. I got my discolor from my local orchid nursery (Ezi-Grow).
Guess what! I was just there and I managed to adopt :
Cnths Moliere (discolor 'L&R' x amazonica 'Full Sail')
Cnths Cnth discolor x Cnths amazonica 'Full Sail'
plus 4 other baby Taiwanese phals....
I couldn't resist.....
Is there a cure?

Nice A Cnths Moliere!!!

I loved visiting Austrailia .. You do have the most lovely country !

I don't think there is a cure ..
But then again, who wants one
The only successful treatment ... more orchids!!!

Thank you so much for the invite!
I would also see New Zealand and make a stop at the Fiji Islands if I were to travel down under
and I would need my own cruise ship to bring back all the orchids I'd want ..

You would need 2 cruise ships if you like cymbidiums! There are cymbidiums lurking around every corner!....
