Nice pics, Dorothy! Thank you for the hybrids informations. Unfortunately they are hard to find in Brazil (even through Ecuagenera)

In my searching during the Project 4 plant, I found cochleanthes candida here

This one, not unlike the others, is pleasantly fragrant but one I can not get in the USA.

Thanks Dorothy, I'm waiting to order this Cochleanthes in the spring, jointly with another 'chids. I'd mentioned Ecuagenera 'cause they have 5 Cochleanthes in catalogue (amazonica, discolor, flablelliformis, ionoleuca and marginata) and all are "not available this time"! I'm choosing the plants for the importation from Ecuador scheduled for november/2007.

Talking 3rd bloom - first one in my care!

Well .. the first 2 blooms never unfurled ... I am figuring that was from a bit of blast from the shipping but
it has since put out a new bud which has opened .. (Doing the banana dance!)
and 2 more buds are growing!
I must say it again .. it is simply amazing!
One of my all time favorites!

I am in total love with this plant .. the vanilla-clove fragrance is one I find myself constantly wafting. It scents in the morning with my violaceas and eurychone
and it's a continuous bloomer - Bonus!
