Default Zygopetalum ID?

I have another one that I needs a name, I bought this with a tag, and in the shuffle of moving things around, it's just gone. MIA. No Idea what this was. I know that it was with my Zyg. Kiwi Dusk, and I bought them about the same time. It has bloomed for me once already, and I just can't take not knowing anymore.

Thank You!

cant really ever be sure now with no tag.. but looks like to my blind eyes a Zygopetalum Arthur Elle or Zygopetalum Titanic or a cross between both of them.

Perhaps the Zygopetalum Redvale? It looks quite similar to the cross between the Titanic and the Arthur Elle. I love trying to figure this out... It's almost as fun as having tagged plants!

Thank you for the input RJ!

Redvale has a lighter colored purple lip...more reddish lavender than purple. BUT Web pics at times are quite deceiving as they can be manipulated.

ohh and you saw my kiwi dusk..I lost the photos from the Galveston Orchid Show but he got a blue ribbon too .

The ribbons, I know some people leave em in the floor and NO I didnt leave mine

It looks like either a Z. Artur Elle hybrid or a Z. Blue Banks hybrid to me. Very hard to tell, though.

Sorry, I can't say for sure what your zygo is. Maybe by looking at zygo's on the net, when you see the name it will come back to you. Some people place a 2nd tag deeply down the side or in the bottom of the pot so that if it is lost at a show (or in a move) there is a back-up. the other idea is to keep a journal of all your plants. Hope you figure it out.

Such a beautiful bloom just to be a NOID...maybe you should call your source and ask them? Just looking at the flower is quite confusing. Its best to be sure rather than guess.

Zygo hybrids look too similar to ID correctly, imho. I have a NOID zygo too and how I wish I knew its name...I bought it Trader Joe's (I know, I usually don't buy NOID orchids from grocery stores, but it was just too healthy and huge to pass up).

Whatever it is, yours is really pretty!
