Default Maxillaria Rufescens

Finally. My mom and I have wanted one of these plants for so long now, but it is pretty hard to find. Anyways, yesterday my mom recieved her Maxillaria rufescens as well as her bulbophyllum fascinator. I have to again say thanks to the person who sold my mom this plant. This is from his personal collection and by the way the roots were cut, it must be half of the plant. He told me over the phone that it would be 8 pseudobulbs, but the plant is almost double that. I was lucky enough to talk my mom into giving me a small division. I got a 5 bulb division, one of which has no leaf that could very well bloom pretty soon. Here are some pictures of the plants. I can't wait to smell the addictive vanilla fragrance.

Hi Chris
I've only just found this forum today otherwise I would have posted earlier. I bought my maxillaria rufescens from an ebay shop based in Malta. He has these orchids quite frequently although I havent seen them elsewhere. I purchased mine back in April, it had 4 healthy bulbs on it when it arrived and this week a bud (i think!) has appeared at the base of the largest bulb. Heres hoping...
