Anguloa eburnium - Orchid Board

Can somebody tell me how to grow this. I have had this for a while and don't know much about it. It was in the greenhouse under a bench and not doing too well. I don't know if it grows in dirt or bark. It is in bark right now. I move in the house because I think it is too hot for it out there. Thanks for any advice.

Zozzl- I grow mine in Phal light in sphagnum moss. This is their bloom season. Spikes arise as new growth starts and the old leaves fall off. Be careful, when the old leaves fall off they leave little thorn like appendages where the leaves were.

Hey thanks for the info. I really had it in too way too much light. Hopefully it will be happier and coolier under grow lights.

Zozzl - Ran out to the greenhouse and snapped some photos so you would see what I was talking about.

Mine has the spiky things too. What is the temperature range in your greenhouse?

In the summer, it is normally 5-8 degrees cooler than the ambient temp. I have some decent shade from trees, so that it is always comfortable, plus I have lots of fans, I believe in not having any stale air. Now the winter is a different story. I used to make sure that the green house never went below 55degrees. That just got too expensive. Now I let it go down to around 42 and have had no problems. Or course it's meant changes my watering habits but life is all about changes.
