Default Lycaste aromatica(Graham)(Lindley 1843)Kew

One of the 15 flowers on this plant,bright yellow with orange. Flowers,scented of cinnamon.
Very easy intermediate grower.

Wonderful - but definitely not L. aromatica. Probably L. groganii. Please - show to us the 15 flowers.... must be quite a display! Thanks for sharing

Dear Fer,

Your reaction made me suspicious,the name was confirmed by nursery past year.Further researched and proved a Lycaste groganii(E.Cooper 1931)KEW = L.aromatica x deppei.
Labels with the correct name is not the strongest side in orchid farms.
Good to have forums,
