Sudamerlycaste is indeed a LOT more to roll off my tongue! However, Fredie Archila deserved the acceptance of this genus name. That English fella tried to steal the credit and the naming rights. Surprisingly (to me), the powers that make those decisions in the UK sided with Archila after deliberations. There is some justice!

Kew didn't side with one of their own?! That's pretty impressive (but I still don't have to like the name!).
