Lycaste macrophylla Update
I posted a picture of this several weeks ago when it begin opening. Here we are on a very cold day, today .....

Maybe, Gin.... but one of the flowers has already aged and has a small black spot on the tip of the staminoid... I guess nothing a little Photoshop action couldn't remove as long as you don't tell on me...

Looks beautiful!! I want to get some Lycastes since I really love the blooms, but first I need to see if I can even bloom the one I do have (Lycaste aromatica). I managed to not rot the new growth, so I guess that's a good thing so far.

Beautiful! How much of a winter rest do you give the macrophylla and does it get more water when in bloom?
