Alright! Max schunkeana, blooms!
My Max schunkeana finally bloomed again! Second or third blooming since I've grown this baby in 5 or so yrs (lost track)!
Gotta love it...
They look like mini Darth Vader helmets.
Dependable bloomers when grown right.

A very dark wine red. Almost like red paint mixed with a lot of black paint. It shows when the light enters the flower from certain angles.
