Lycaste hybrid (?) identification
Default Lycaste hybrid (?) identification

Hi there,

Last year, I bought a Lycaste under a fantasy name (it was L. skinnerii 'Wyld Wong', with a photo that doesn't match). Now it is in flower, nice and beautiful but I have no idea what it might be - maybe anyone here can help? It had three sprout in spring and now, as the bulbs have matured, has one flower per bulb.
Something extraordinary is the white hair under the lip, as you can see in the second pic - maybe that's a hint?
Thanks for any help!

Kind regards Mickeymuc

Hey Everyone,

A friend of mine identified it as the natural hybrid Lycaste x lucianii (lasioglossa x skinnerii), which seems to fit from the photos I found.
