I still stand in awe of this magnificent specimen.
Mine is growing, found out that it REALLY likes lots of water when it's actively growing. But still no blooms in almost 3 years. However, after almost losing it, it has just started producing close to normal size pseudobulbs again this last year, so hopefully in the next year or so I will see flowers again!

This is such a fantastic specimen. A link to your last thread on it was posted on the Max tenuifolia project thread as an example of how well they can grow, I am just in awe I just hope one day mine can be even a quarter of that size.

Mauro, that's a great plant..
just curious, and my apologies for the somehow "silly" question, the plant has been in the same pot for over 10 years... I assume the medium has been changed a couple of times, right? What does it grows in?

Ramon, it's not a silly question, absolutelly! I'd do that question too if someone told me the same!
The answer is that there's no more any medium inside the pot, just a mass of roots... The original medium broke down a long time ago and I never replaced it. This mass of roots did so much pressure on the walls of the pot that it ended up splitting a couple of months ago!
This works out because a considerable part of this plant's roots is aerial!
