Bifr inodora is a beautiful plant, with numerous varieties of colors, but completely removed from Bifr charlesworthii. Bifr inodora belongs to Section Harrisoniae (Bifrenaria with large flowers), while charlesworthii belongs to Section Stenocoryne (Bifrenaria with small flowers). The plant of the section Stenocoryne closest to Bifr charlesworthii is Bifr racemosa. The other plants of this Section are Bifr stefanae, vitellina, aureofulva, clavigera, silvana (melanopoda species is doubtful, probably a variation of Bifr racemosa)
