Nice work, what conditions do you have it in. My Bluebird is shooting out new growths but has yet to spike. I'd love some help. Thanks

Me three...My Zygo Blue Bird keeps putting out new growths then they die. I think its too warm.

I put them in a cooler section in front of the fan to see if that would help.

What conditions are you growing?

Nothing fancy. On a table inside a bay window, southern exposure. Live in Pennsylvania. Watered twice a week. One of those watering I use a very weak fertilizer mixture - the MiracleGrow for orchids in a blue box. House is usually 70 degrees during the day and 65 at night. I attached a picture when mine got new growth which was March 20th. Any other questions please ask.

No fan either. When you say too warm, how warm is it?

Well we are now pushing the 90s during the daytime this week.

Mine's too hot for sure. Dangit...I guess I'll have to re-home the little guy. I bought this one before I knew anything about temperature culture techniques and I don't have a true greenhouse setup to keep it cool enough and my orchid eating cat would have a field day if I brought it inside.

Bummer...it had the most gorgeous bloom last year when I bought it.
