Yes it has a very flowery perfume Maureen. I've been trying to work out what it smells like and I think the closest I can describe is Asiatic lillies. Quite overpowering at close distance whatever it is.

I have a small one nearing blooming size (I hope). I was told it would be fragrant and after seeing yours I can't wait.

Mine was in flower when I bought it a couple of years ago. At that time it had one mature pseudobulb and three new growths. This season it put out another three new growths and flowered too

I had another plant about 15 years old which I had bought as a seedling however it never really seemed to take off. It finally bit the dust this summer... not sure why. This one however is thriving.

FYI it is growing in about 50/50 coconut husk and perlite.
