Default Maxillaria camaridii

This is a very nice Maxillaria, as are all white ones (for me!). It was in bloom a few days earlier and it is a pity the flowers are so short lived, just one day! If you blink you miss the flowers open and then all you have to do is waiting for one more year and for better luck!

I almost lost them, Rosie. The plant was hanging in a corner of the shade house and there was somehting bigger in front of it. Something white behind captured my attention and I went to check! There they are...!!

Great plant Mauro!! Just really too bad that the blooms are so short lived. I think if I had one, blooms would warrant taking a day off from work just so I could enjoy them.

Natasha, you're going to laugh, but that's exactly what I do!! One wall of my student dorm room is entirely dedicated to orchid photos, both mine and from other people.

that's just a better way to enjoy everblooming chids! i have yet to exhibit chid pixs in my house, since i haven't yet print any. but i bought the photo papers and inks ready! but i love looking them in books. some just purposely bought as the pix are gorgeous!
