I bet if you keep it evenly moist and give it cattleya light, it will grow for you!

Stunning! Always puts me in the mood for a pina colada when these are in bloom.

Great growing.

I hope you enjoy your plant as much as I do mine. I know of no easier, tougher, rewarding, fast growing, awesomely scented, confidence inspiring orchid! The flowers are very cool looking too!
Thanks for sharing. Mine is growing but probably needs more light. I think I'll slowly move it out soon also. Smells like coconut suntan oil...I love it.

Stunning!

I have one that is just moping and not doing anything. I think it's not getting enough light. I will also start to move it outdoors, if the weather will just cooperate.

Congratulations on a gorgeous plant!

Feeding is my weakest subject! But I will tell you that I try to feed at least once a week, 3 out of 4 weeks a month. I give it a 2 month rest from feeding in October and November.

That is awesome!

I can almost smell its delicious fragrance all the way here! LOL.

I'm sure my issue is a lack of light. Your plant is much more compact than mine is. Mine has psb's that are more spaced out. I suspect they're reaching for some more light.

Your photos and comments have been very, very helpful.

As a newbie, I've been trying to start off with orchids that are relatively hardy and adaptable, so I think my little chid will be OK, if I tweak its conditions.

Thanks again and enjoy your beautiful plant.

It's soooooooooo rewarding when they do well for you. What a treat!

WOW! Mine is in bloom right now. All three flowers.
It's been in bark but after looking at that magnificent specimen I'm going to put ii in moss.
