After seeing Mauro's, it's almost embarassing to post a pic of mine. But what the hey, the lil bugger is making the effort to bloom so the least I can do is give him a half second in the 'spotlight' -- even if ony for comic relief.

Well I think it looks very nice! It looks happy. I've never seen such a huge specimen as Mauro's most peoples plants look more like yours I think! I really want one of these, both for the color and smell of the blooms!
Btw, what's that plant handing next to it that looks like a string of beads? (unless it really is a string of beads. )

Your maxillaria looks great! Don't feel bad, mine's no specimine either. But give these babies afew more years, and we too can have nice big maxillarias.

Yes Camille, the plant next to it looks like what is commonly called either a "String of Beads" or "Sring of Pearls." It's a succulent technically... and I promptly killed the one I had by overwatering!
