My Coconut Scented Beauty!!
Well this is the first maxillaria tenuifolia i've ever had, and now its first flower is opening!! I hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoy the strong scent!
It's just gorgeous! The color is so pretty, I just love it! I can just imagine what it must smell like. Yummy coconut I'm so jealous! And yes, it does look like it's singing! lol

I realised that after i brought this plant from trinidad to california, it wasn't doing anything till it got colder, then it started to make new bulbs and i think i will get about 5 flowers!

What type of conditions do you have it in?
Let's see i have mine growing in coconut husk chips in a clear plastic pot. I keep it moist and it gets the same amount of light as my catts, which is bright direct light.
