I searched the RHS database and found something to that effect too; cool stuff. I didn't know Zygoneria was even a hybrid genus!

Beautiful plant. You said that it didn't have a fragrance yet....I'm not sure what you mean. Do you expect the flower to be fragrant after it's open for a while, or maybe at night?

The flowers develop their fragrance a couple of days after they bloom and are mainly fragrant around midday. Now when I go out to the porch the smell is soooo intoxicating that I don't want to come back inside the house

I have a zygo hybrid that I'm hoping will bloom this year.

Congratulations on a beautiful plant. Enjoy the fragrance! I hope the plant flowers last a long, long time.
