Roses are beautiful too, but the cut ones don't last long. I once had a rose garden with 27 plants, but found it to be a real chore to keep them healthy. Too much rain and humidity required bi-weekly anti-fungal spraying sessions on the tops and bottoms of all their leaves.
Orchids are a much better option for a Central Florida grower.
