I saw this plant mounted on cork today! Mine is in a pot but the mounting looked great and I'm thinking of doing the same with a portion of mine.
Has anybody else seen this or have done it themselves?
In my experience, these can get really viney, with long rhizome "tendrils" if kept too dry, so be sure to keep a mounted specimen well-watered.
I base that on an experiment in which I dividied a potted plant, putting half in a basket of sphagnum and half in an 8" s/h pot. The basketed one get "rangey" while the one in s/h culture stayed as a dense "mound".
Thanks Ray...I'm a maniacal "mister" with the kids. I have a number of things mounted and they do get a little special care
This is just a small piece I took from the bigger plant, this is the rest of it ...
