Default Pescatorea lehmannii

This is a first-bloom plant, and although the flower's been open for a few days and this species is supposedly fragrant, I can't detect any scent so far. Even so, the flower is pretty cool. I especially like the fuzzy lip, which reminds me of a bifrenaria--and which my admittedly mediocre photography skills don't seem to do justice to. Easy grower and bloomer.

Steve,

That's a beauty! I have one I just got a couple of months ago, but not ready to bloom yet . . . next year perhaps. Your photo will make me impatient to see it "live".

These guys are among my favorite orchids. They aren't fussy, and they can bloom at any time of the year. I really think it's a shame they haven't caught on as well as some other genera have. They're awesome plants.

Great growing. Yours has the same color patterning as mine. No fragrance on mine, either, though I hear that the fragrance is supposed to be citrusy.
