Default Zygo "Arthur Elle"

I went to my first orchid show and fell in love with the fragrance of the "Arthur Elle" so I found one which was in spike and brought it home. Yesterday it started to bloom!

I'm so excited---now I just have to manage to do this again and again---

Enjoy! (according to my Fiance the emerging blooms look like marshmallow peeps or baby birds).

That is one of the prettiest Zygos! I think I might need that one, expecially if it smells like candy!

Its a great plant! Just a heads up, lots of tags for this cross are misspelled. It should be Z. Artur Elle, a cross between Z. Blackii and Z. B.G. White

LOL, no---it's actually quite a floral smell, and very pleasant. Candy smells I think are more in the oncidium (Twinkle and Sherry Baby---respectively Vanilla and coco-puff chocolate).

Very nice! I sometimes find the smell overpowering but I love the flowers.

I love this one! I may have to venture into the Zygo territory because it is just too beautiful to pass up!
