Default MAXILARIA UNKNOW

I found this beauty in the rain forest this weekend, the flowers are 10-12 cm ... the spike is about 30 cm... it's very elegant... the leaves are about 20-30 cm... No fragrant...
I think is a kind of Maxillaria Striata, but the charachteristics doesn't match sooo much....
I search in the orchidspecies.com and nothing.... can anybody help me with the name.... I 'm sure is a Maxillaria ????
Maybe is the new MAXILLARIA Albertassia... o BETORSSIA... JAJAJAJJAJAJA....

THANKS!!!

I don't know about that. Maxillaria striata is highly variable but this flower has a lot of characters that are inconsistent, especially the shape of the dorsal sepal and the very pale coloration. My suspicion would be a natural hybrid of (fletcheriana x striata) which would explain most of the differences.

Can't do more from photographs. It is a partiularly choice clone, however, and a wonderful addition to horticulture.

Hope that helps, Eric

Default THANKS

Thank you a lot Eric... do you like another photo or side???/ I can take it tomorrow morning...
Yes, It could be a natural hibrid... I've never seen before... It's beautifull...
Tomorrow I'll take some close ups... The color is beetween white and a pale yellow ... the lines are red but they aren't very strong...
I have a Maxillaria Striata ... except the lines doesn't match a lot... But certainly is a Maxillaria I'm sure!!!

BETO
