Zygo Just Opened - Orchid Board

This Zygo just greeted me in the GH this AM....not as bright as the one I posted in my thread "Hodge-Podge" and it has a fragrance but I'm not sure what it reminds me of...not like the other one which was beautiful lilaic.

I love that color! I think it's my preferred Zygo color. And it's fragrant too, yum!

I was thinking of getting 1 next year, but I really don't know much about them.
They need coolish feet right? How are you growing this one

These are new to me, also. Currently I have them on a top shelf and treat them like catt's with just a tad more water and allowing them to dry slightly... I had expected a spike with several flowers but having the single bloom is exciting just the same

Alrighty Doc, Thanks for letting me know. I do catts

I did a lil searching on OB last night (not much) but some. They do seem to love their water, mixes were across the board. Air flow is important to keep the fungus spots off them so it seems.

I also thought coolish air was a factor in their blooming cycle? Gotta keep reading about these first before jumping in.

Such beautiful blooms!
