Maxillaria tenuifolia in trouble. Help!!

I bought a healthy Maxillaria tenuifolia about 2 months ago and I repot the plant sphagnum moss. I've recently seen new root growths and several new growths so the plant looks quite happy. I have the fan on most of the time. So here's the problem:
About a month ago, the some of the leaves got brown spot (veiny looking areas) so I cut those off. A few days later, another leaf got brown veins/spots so I used cinnamon and sprinkled on top of the spotted area (I don't really know what I'm doing). Sometimes these brown areas spread really fast in a random leaf and cover half of the leaf with "veiny" looking tissue, which makes the leaf look mottled. Eventually, the leaves will turn brown and die off. Initially, I thought I might have had some water on the leaves so I took care not to let water sitting on the leaves. That still doesn't resolve the problem. Despite the new growth and and new roots, I'm still not happy. I don't want to loost any more leaf. Could someone tell me what's wrong with my plant? Have anyone experienced this kind of problem on Max Ten before?

I would like to know as well because I will buy one eventually. I imagine I will plant mine in bark though.

sounds like you have either a fungal or bacterial infection, possibly from the plant remaining too wet between waterings. If its in moss you need to be especially careful of overwatering, you should let nearly dry befor adding any water. you might want to treat the plant with a fungicide/bactericide to prevent anymore of the leaves from dieing, also cut off those who have already turned black and dust with cinnamon.

Not sure exactly what is going on with yours now but I know for sure in my culture I would be concerned growing in straight NZ sphag moss. I personally have had great sucess with mine growing in a 50/50 mix of shredded NZ sphag moss/#3 sponge rock. I also noticed it thrives on neglect and needs bright light and dry complettly between watering.

Like I said, the humidity is moderate, and the moss is never too wet (dry out within 2 days) and I'm careful enough not to let water sitting on the leaves. Anyway, another leaf has lost today...scary. I bought this from Orchid Limited so I believe it is virus free.... I just want to know what is it...I feel sad...

To me it sounds like the leaves are burning. Rot doesnt usually take a whole leaf in one day. Sun burn does though. I know you said you have no camera, but it would really help if you could post pics.
