Black Maxillaria schunkeana 'Pérola Negra'
It doesn't stop blooming!! If memory serves me well, I posted this plant in March, but at that ocasion it was giving flower since january. In all this time not a single day passed without flowers on this plant!

It is grown along with my Cattleyas, Blackorchid. I do nothing different. As for where to find it in the States, I am affraid it is a little difficult for me to help. Sorry! |

Not everybody likes blackish orchids, Dorothy, but this one is super, at least to my taste. This flower is most commonly found in dark brownish-wine color, but some are almost black. The plant is short and keeps giving flowers for more than 7-8months. |

Wow! That is a really black orchid. Is it one of the cool growing Maxillarias? Also, is there a smell?
