Default Zygonisia Cynosure 'Blue Birds'

This is similar to, if not exactly like Ray's blooms. A cross between Aganisia and Zygopetalum, the blossoms are 2.5 inches wide, and the plant 12 inches tall. I had hopes for a nice aroma, but so far it has none. One more "I have to have it" when seen in a garden shop.
A few days before I purchased this my daughter gave me a Phal. bellina in bud for Mothers' Day. I hit the jackpot this week.

I know this is an old thread, but I had the good fortune recently to visit Hawaii, and I saw this exact hybrid at the Akatsuka Orchids show room, so I believe it is one of their creations. Thankyou, Marc. I am about to take a look at their recommendations,as I do have some problem, which may be too little humidity.

I know this is an old thread, but can anyone tell me the abbreviation for Zygonisia? I have a 'Blue Birds' and I am trying to get my journal updated with all my chids. I tried Googling it with no luck.
