i find them to be awesome Genus and very tolerant if they never totally dry out and dont get too much sun.
I have three, they grow in a pseudo SH culture with a bucket and hole midway up and the inside filled with lava rock. they grow in super bright shade
I grow them outside all year, they see 50-100F and as long as i dont cook them or ever let the buckets go dry, they just keep on keeping on
i dont think anyone would ever tell you that they way i described is even recommended, hell i dont recommend it for anyone but me, but it shows the ability of the plants to adapt and tolerate
