For fragrance, Max. tonsbergii is hard to beat. Max ubatubana is fragrant, and incredibly floriferous. Max marginata (chrysantha) I don't have noted as fragrant, but it is also very floriferous. Max phoenicanthera is another flower machine, Max sophronitis isn't fragrant, but the color is brilliant - it blooms a few flowers on and off, but does a flush bloom several times a year. Max elatior also has color going for it, as long as long flower life and frequent blooming. Max. scalariformis has pink flowers contrasted with dark green leaves, beautiful even when not in bloom. Max richii has dusty pink flowers with yellow lip, very vigorous. (Don't recall fragrance but it's vigorous, and really pretty) Max lehmannii is fragrant. Max dillonii is floriferous, vigorous, and fragrant.
For photos, check out my website (link in signature ) I also indicate (in the Index of Plants) which ones are cold-tolerant (most of them) and which need GH. (You'll be growing them inside in winter, of course, but still good to know which ones can go cooler at night.
Well, this should give you a start! (I do love Maxillarias...)
