Can anyone help! I have had this Zygo for about a year... it has never had any issues, and it looked totally normal on Sunday when I watered it and the original bulbs now look mushy and reddish...

Zygos prefer cool temperatures, high humidity and constantly moist but well aerated roots. What are your growing conditions?

I am in south Florida, so it is hot and humid, and I water once the medium is dry or just before dry... nothing had changed with its growing conditions, it is about to bloom for the 3rd time since I’ve had it, I just don’t know whether or not to somehow remove the browning mushy bulbs or if I need to leave them...

I think you've been lucky for a year. Its ancestors are not hot growers.
