Default Fantastic Lycaste!

This is my third year growing Lycaste in my basement grow room and they are letting me know how much they love the conditions... Such a underrated genus

Wow! These are really well grown!!

Where are you finding these Lycastes? I've been looking for some of the hot growing, deciduous types for a while.

I got half of them from SVO 2 years ago as tiny 2 bulb seedlings.

The other half I got from Ecuagenera. They have a lot available now and they are always huge and healthy (similar to their phrags). Ecuagenera Lycastes get a little confused by the hemisphere change but figure it out in the first year.

Those Lycaste look fantastic!!! Well done! I've always been tempted to try one (particularily Lycaste aromatica after getting a whiff of it at a show a decade ago), but as it's a completely unknown genus for me, I've been hesitant to buy one.

Those are nice!
Tough for me to grow them down here but I just saw Carter & Holmes have a warmth tolerant one advertised that's really pretty. Little Kitty.
