Your mystery Maxillaria is Max. villosa, a lowland species from Brazil and northern South America. It is a relative of Max. crassifolia and both species are sometime placed in the segregate genus Dicrypta. Maxillaria villosa is often confused with Max. discolor, a similar species with purple-suffused leaves.
