This thing is a total freak. It ended up putting out 11 blooms and is now throwing another spike. I repotted it back in July and it is again climbing out the top. The root growth is incredible and has pretty much doubled its mass in 5 months.
Dolly, do I remember you saying you tried using the brown Listerine to attempt having better Zygo leaves? Or was that something else? And did you ever come to a conclusion that the Listerine was helpful or not? Curious, and poor memory...

Good morning WW. I used clear listerine for quite awhile. I do not think it helped in the slightest. My foliage was nearly black, although the plant grew like a weed and flowered several times a year. I couldn't stand to look at it! I do think it liked running cooler than 70s. However, spraying with Neem does seem to have helped my other zygo hybrids. Some of which seem naturally more robust and cleaner than others.

It has antiseptic properties. A couple growers suggested it or windex, as an anti fungal.
