Hello! New/old orchid grower here....

Hello and thanks for the add. I used to have a lot of orchids growing in SH about 15-20 years ago. I learned everything from Ray.

I had to leave all the orchids behind in a bad divorce and I've missed them ever since. I finally decided to start over and now I am re-learning all about semi-hydro growing. It's amazing how much I've forgotten and also how much I remember. The options for growing under lights have changed dramatically and I'm catching up there.
I'm so glad to see Ray is still here to help me in my once-again newbie status!

I’m in Massachusetts, so obviously growing indoors until the summer and fall.

I’m starting with catts, phals, and hopefully some paphs too. I’ll probably get a few others as time goes on. The neofinitias seem to be calling my name, but I’ll wait on those for now.
