Hi, Orchid Peeps!

I am super excited to be able to join the board and share all the fun and experience of orchids with you all. I had a collection of 8-10 phals in the past, but lost most of them during a reno.

Now, I have a dendrobium phal that my husband gave me for our wedding (it's FINALLY blooming, after waiting 6 years to figure out how to make it happy!), and a few other orchids I recently picked up from an orchid show, Trader Joe's and Lowes.

I am experimenting with oncidiums, dendrobiums and cattleyas, as well as 1-2 phals and trying to keep them all straight!

I have been attending the San Diego orchid society meetings off an on for the last year, but haven't joined officially yet - it's one of my new year's goals
