Hello everyone,
My name is Brandi. I’m a Registered Nurse by night and an orchid lover by day

. My brother is ‘Ponderingjunkman’ on here and we both love orchids and even taunt each other with how our orchids are doing- who’s orchids spiked first, etc. It’s a lot of fun. I am a fairly inexperienced orchid parent. I have owned a couple of orchids these past couple years. However I was only able to keep them alive but was not able to make them thrive. That is until my brother started learning a lot about orchids and gave me some very helpful tips. Currently I have 5 orchids, which all vary in stages right now: Two orchids are currently spiking (which I celebrated!); One orchid that I’m trying my hardest to bring back from the brink of death; one mini orchid that I recently purchased which is currently blooming; and one orchid that finished blooming a few weeks ago. I have so much to learn about orchids and I’m eager to learn from you all- and I already have!
