Default oncidium drooping leaves

my oncidium has bloomed and flowers have fallen off three weeks ago. now the leaves are starting to droop. they are still very green and i see new growth. any ideas.
the orchid is in large east facing window. temperatures have been in mid 70's to low 80's. humidity 60-70. I think I may have overwatered it. when the leaves started I thought it needed more water. I unpotted plant and it was potted in saph moss. I cleaned roots which were very dense and really wet. I repotted into bark and perlite in a basket type of pot to try and dry out roots. it was very hard to see if roots were bad as there were very wet. I did see some green ones but most were whiteish color. some of the leaves are now splitting down middle. the leaves are very dark green and not wrinkled. I see two new small bulbs growing and new leave growth which are not drooping. any ideas

How much are you watering? What is the light and temperature. We need details and/or a picture before we can give an intelligent answer. All orchids drop their flowers eventually.

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

Most people need to have 5 posts before they can post photos. Simply replying to another post in another thread is sufficient. There are instructions for posting photos in About this forum. In the left yellow menu select Forums, then About this forum near the top.

Oncidiums are easy to grow in a house once you understand what they need. They do need a lot more water than most other orchids. However, if they get too much water, the roots rot, and the plant looks like you're not watering enough.

What is the potting medium in the pot? How warm is it where you are growing it? What kind of light is it getting?

If you shake the plant is it shakey? Are the roots dead? Roots not sending water to the leaves is the main reason leaves go wrinkly or floppy. Bad roots = bad leaves. How much air is getting to the roots? These are epiphytes, not tomatoes. The roots need to breathe.
