Hello everyone,

new to the forum and this is my first orchid forum. been reading some of the other intro's. It's like an intro to an AA meeting or something, lol.

I recently been bit hard by the orchid bug. I bought an orchid for my mother and was amazed how well hers has grown. she rebloomed the phal easily.

I starting looking into it. bought a Phal for myself at a grocery store. Then an odontoglossom big hilo spark at a show. got that to one to rebloom pretty easily.

a year after, i decided to buy a oncidium twinkle, zygo jump jack, dendrobium nano chip, & paph. hsinying. Yada Yada Yada, 2 months after that, I ordered 7 new orchids in the mail.

trying different growing methods. Just looking to learn, help others, and talk orchids.

great forum and looking forward to chatting with you all. Cheers!

Hello and welcome!

It always seems like just one will brighten the home but one seems to rapidly multiply.

Welcome to the Orchid Board! Yes, it can easily turn into an addiction, but aside from the logistics of trying to find places to put everything, it seems to be a pretty healthy addiction!

thanks for the heads up there neighbor. I actually went there. Possibly new years day, which is a couple of days after I found out about the place. I didn't get any mini's there, but i did pick up my oncidium twinkle, zygo jump jack, dendrobium nano chip, & paph. hsinying from there. i guess i have to go back huh?

Welcome to Orchidboard!
Nice to see people from CT, I grew up there. Life across the pond is nice, but I miss my little town of Fairfield.

Glad to hear that you already went to J&L! I've read only positive comments about them here, so it seems that you know where to go to get your orchid fix!
